The European Higher Education Fair (EHEF) has been held annually since 2012 by the Delegation of the European Union to Japan and brings together higher education institutions, embassies and public institutions from many EU member states.
The EHEF aims to provide Japanese students with a deeper understanding of the appeal of European higher education.
POINT
1
About 70 institutions from all over Europe will attend! This is a once-a-year two-day event that attracts about 1,000 visitors every year. Don’t miss this opportunity.
2
Since the actual person in charge from overseas has come to Japan, you can speak directly to them and ask for details about the school or system you are interested in.
3
In addition to being able to ask about any worries or anxieties you may have about studying abroad, you can also get real information that you won’t find online, such as career paths and real life after studying abroad.

VOICE
Q&A
It was great to be able to actually hear what they had to say.
I realized that I need to be clearer about what I want to do and the difference between what I want to do and the language skills I need. I was able to think about studying abroad more realistically.
You will have the knowledge you need locally.
It was very helpful to hear specific information about studying abroad in Europe, such as the standard cost of living for students there.
It was a good opportunity to hear information about each country at once.
We also really appreciated talking with people from the embassy and people who have studied abroad. My child is still in the third year of junior high school, but the information we received early on gave us some idea of what we need to do in the future.
I was able to learn about scholarships, etc!
I was prepared for the fact that higher education in Europe costs a certain amount of money, but I was very grateful to learn about scholarship programs.
I would like to attend the fair again next year to gather information.
My daughter will be a senior in high school next year, so if she can go to a similar event next year, I think she will be able to make a more concrete choice of a study abroad destination.
It was a very meaningful event!
At first I could not imagine what kind of event it would be, but I was very satisfied to learn about the characteristics of each country and school! It strengthened my desire to study abroad at an overseas university in the future.
