AGH University of Krakow cooperates with 18 Japanese universities under general agreements, double degree programs, and the Erasmus+ KA171 programme. AGH University is the only Polish higher education institution offering the Energy and Environmental Engineering (E3) programme, which is a unique degree programme jointly run by AGH University and the Japanese partner Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT).

Tuition fees
Bachelor studies is in the range of 800-2000 EUR/semester, while master studies is between 800-2100 EUR. The tuition fees are varied depending on the departments. Moreover, there is no tuition fee for doctoral studies. Students of Japanese universities with which AGH University has signed general cooperation agreements may be exempt from tuition fees on the basis of concluded student exchange agreements.
Students of Japanese universities that cooperate with AGH University under the Erasmus+ KA171 program receive scholarships for stay and a lump sum for travel.
Scholarships offered
At AGH University, there are several scholarship offered to the students. Internal scholarship from the AGH University such as Rector's scholarship, scholarship for disability, social scholarship and aid for students in need. As for the external funding, we have scholarship funded by Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) which dedicated for international students through severals program funding namely The Banach Scholarship Program, Poland My First Choice NAWA, The Gen. Anders Programme, EU4Belarus Programme, Exchange Programme for students and scientists as part of bilateral cooperation. Besides this, our university offers mobility funding through Erasmus+ Programme as well. Students of Japanese universities that cooperate with AGH University under the Erasmus+ KA171 program receive scholarships for stay and a lump sum for travel.
