Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE)

The Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Universities, serving as the National Agency responsible for developing and implementing the Erasmus+ programme in Spain. As the key link between the 93 institutions of the Spanish University System and international educational bodies, SEPIE is dedicated to promoting Spanish higher education globally.

Our core functions:
• Promotion: We actively promote the educational and research opportunities of Spanish universities and research centres internationally.
• Support and advice: We provide essential information and support to international students, professors, and researchers in Spain, as well as to Spanish nationals abroad.
• Collaboration: We forge and maintain collaboration agreements with foreign governments and institutions, orchestrating comprehensive international mobility programmes that address academic, administrative, legal, and financial aspects.
