The DAAD is the world’s largest funding organisation for the international exchange of students and researchers. The Regional Office Tokyo has been providing information about studying and researching in Germany since 1978. Our activity includes offering free consultations for students interested in Germany and conducting regular online information events.

We offer various funding programs for researchers from Japan, ranging from individual scholarships to financial support for scientific projects, university collaborations and conferences. If you have any questions about studying or researching in Germany –feel free to contact us!
